Travelers to Jamaica’s Sangster International Airport and Norman Manley International Airport are in for the VIP treatment.  VIP Attractions has launched two VIP airport services for travelers to Jamaica: Club Kingston and Club MoBay.

These airport experiences offer travelers access to VIP lounges while at the airport, similar to American Airlines’ Admiral’s Club.  The lounge has a business center, complimentary drinks and snacks, a spa, shower facilities, television and more.

For international arrivals, the experience includes a greeter at the jet bridge who guides travelers through the immigration and customs process.

There are four ways to access these lounges: purchase a $30 ticket; annual subscriptions; flying through partner airlines, such as Virgin, British Airways, Air Jamaica, Caribbean, and Air Berlin; travelers who are part of Airport Angels or Priority Pass can use the lounges as well.

Club Mobay comments by Mark Rogers, Go! Destination Marketing:

The design of the lounge is sleek and modern, with comforting curves drawing your eye from one component to another.  Service was super-friendly and attentive.  While I waited I was brought a drink and a sandwich and offered the loan of a Samsung PDA.  I wasn’t traveling with kids, but I could see how welcome the kids area would be – as a great option for lively children and a welcome respite for adults from parenting for a bit.

The 10,100 square foot lounge has complimentary refreshments, a fully-equipped Digicel business center, unlimited wifi and international cable TV, shower facilities and a mini-spa at additional cost.  One feature that really blew me away was the photo gallery featuring work by visitors to Jamaica.  The quality was way beyond the scope of the casual vacation snap and the gallery deserves a book of its own.  Another nice touch was the cultural exhibit honoring Jamaican heroes.  All in all, the whole effect of Club Mobay is a very thoughtful one.
